What is messy play?
Messy and sensory play is any play that includes a child’s senses: touch, sight, taste, smell and sound. It is a great way to let your child explore, investigate and learn about the world around them.
Sensory play helps brain development, fine motor skills, problem solving, language and cognitive development. Sensory play can be as simple as water and cups to pour with, or more elaborate like a small world set up. The options are endless!
